Mark Steyn Is Innocent!
October 10, 2008
Can the word “Hooray!” really do this justice?
The BC Human Rights Tribunal threw out the case! It’s over, and Steyn is finally presumed innocent.
Thank God! And congratulations to Mark Steyn, and congratulations to the world for the continued survival of freedom. Keep checking Wendy’s site for updates…

No, the word doesn’t do it justice. A big, leaping, shouting, huzzah–but without the goofy ren-fair crowd–would be quite welcome.

The fact that the “case” ever made it in front of a tribunal is a sad commentary on Canadian politics.

Great for Macleans and Steyn, yet…
Unfortunately, most such cases make it to the tribunals and overwhelmingly, most such cases lose. Steyn had Steyn and friends making a big noise and making the the CHRC look ridiculous. Others haven’t that clout. Costs incurred defending oneself are high and just a couple of summons by the tribunals would make victories seem more like losses. That Canadians put up with this commission is beyond my comprehension.

That’s good. Now, what about Ezra Levant? If you haven’t seen the youtubes with his extraordinary statement in another Canadian thougt-police prosecution’s kangaroo court, you are in for a treat: http://www.youtube.com/user/EzraILevant
