This will probably lead to rumors in the lefty blogosphere that Gov. Palin is a Republican android, to be followed by calls in the MSM for a public vivisection.

Reading that thread on DK was more fun than I’ve had in weeks.

My favorite part is where the fans like Natalie DeGennaro are incensed to discover that movie studios put out films–gasp–to make money.

Don’t get too excited. Obama had a nice bounce himself and it disappeared. Hell, in 1988, Dukakis got a 17-POINT lead on Bush Sr. and got creamed in the end. I didn’t get too high last week after the 50-42 Obama lead, and I’m not too excited now. Two months is an eternity in politics.

Thad’s right, the October surprise season is still to come … dirtiest month of the year.

It’s still early. I remember back in 1990 when Jim Blanchard was coasting to re-election with a 13 point lead. The Detroit News had a story saying it was over before the election. Then what happened…..some “nobody” upset him, with the name of John Engler.

I’m not dancing any Irish jigs yet, not when we’re up against Chicago style politics, among the dirtiest in the country.

Now, apparently, Obama’s campaign is hemorrhaging money, and failing to meet its fundraising goals….

…yet Obama says that running the campaign qualifies him to be President.

What do you think the national debt will look like in four years if we elect him?

I wrote about this in my blog as well, the McCain bump is significant; before the RNC obama was up by 7 in gallup daily tracking poll. Now mccain is consistently hovering at about a 5 point lead over Obama. That is over a 10 point bounce ,and there is evidence in the polls that the republicans in the senate races are doing better as well.
