Whose Fault Is It?

The Barack Hussein Obama flap, that is. Who was the one who started this mess? Which bigoted, anti-Islamic right wing nutjob was responsible for initially using Barack’s incendiary middle name as a clever political device?
Well, uh…that would be Barack Hussein Obama.
Sometime before Barack Obama’s middle name slipped into the realm of the unmentionable, it was supposed to be a selling point of his candidacy. “Well, I think if you’ve got a guy named Barack Hussein Obama, that’s a pretty good contrast to George W. Bush,” Mr. Obama told PBS’s Tavis Smiley on October 18, 2007. “If you believe that we’ve got to heal America and we’ve got to repair our standing in the world, then I think my supporters believe that I am the messenger who can deliver that message.”
Somehow, that was supposed to make him better than George W. Bush, but seeing as George W. Bush’s middle name is actually “Walker” as in Walker, Texas Ranger its hard to make that argument with a straight face. Walker beats Hussein hands down. In fact, if he could have beat the real Hussein, he probably would have, except that our government preferred that Saddam go down after a fight, not with a clean blow to the jugular.
We think this means his name is now fair game for anyone.

Obviously, “Walker” is clearly identified with “Texas Ranger.” Which, is right in line with liberal characterization of Bush. Bush’s whole name is pretty much “American,” while Obama’s is “diverse.” So, in some crazy sense, Obama is the ‘opposite’ of Bush, and as such, “better.”

I find it hilarious that those leftists that have built their entire empire based upon identity politics are now trying to hide their champion and standard bearer’s identity.
It is even more so delicious that one of their own is using their best weapon (political correctness)against them, as in:”Youcan’t say that about a black!” or “You can’t talk to a woman like that just because your a man!”
I wait for the crisis in the democrat party at the convention time when the “Black man abusing a poor white woman” card is played.
