Cold Comfort, Really
September 7, 2007
At least you know, if you are ever stuck for months if not years at a time in a cave somewhere between Pakistan and Afghanistan, cut off from most of the modern world, living with goats and a satellite phone, you will still have access to Just For Men.
(Interestingly, it appears that he’s been wearing the exact same robes for three and a half years).
Update: Take a look at the Defense Department flier…Is nice! Should also probably be looking in Kazakhstan.

I wonder if UBL paid $400 to his hairdresser like someone else did?
(If so, he was robbed.)

It’s probably just me, but with the underlining, I read the link as “access to Lust For Men”. I probably just need more coffee.

_access to Lust For Men_
Richard, you must be thinking about Larry Craig’s favorite spot on the Web.

WC, you need to follow the news a little more carefully. Senator Craig said very clearly in his statement that he *is not gay*, and is simply the victim of a vicious smear campaign by his hometown newspaper.
Now if he was surfing to _Lust for Goats_, that would be different.

Fascinating how libs don’t like gays any more when the gay person is a Republican.
Mark Foley, whose behavior I did not excuse, didn’t have sex (gay or otherwise) with anyone, but the media wass obsessed with the fact that he was “gay.”
Now the latest target is Craig, who has found it necessary to deny the fact that he is gay.
I thought ones sexuality was a private matter. I thought homosexuality was normal and not worthy of comment. Yet these standards (if they can be called that) magically disappear when a Republican is involved. THEN sexuality is the focus, the highlighted issue. It is no longer private and hardly deemed normal. (Chris Matthews refered to Craig as “deviant.”) Now it is true that cruising for any kind of intimacy in a public bathroom is objectionable but imagine Rush Limbaugh calling ANYONE connected to homosexuality as “deviant.”

Mark - I’m not sure how you would know that Mark Foley never had sex with any human, but maybe he confides in you. Sen. Craig’s homosexuality was made an issue, rightly or wrongly, because of perceived or real hypocrisy. Regardless of whether one believes in that or not, I think most would agree that _having anonymous sex in a public restroom is weird_. Even if it were Sen. Craig and Lindsay Lohan, it would still be weird. That might be more weird. But it’s still weird.
